Tumblr is a superior media blogging tool, and it cross pollinates information in the blogosphere so much better.  Twitter is fast and wonderful for those micro updates about my life that nobody really cares about.  LJ I will use you when I need to journal those forlorn (and/or perhaps joyous) times in my life.  No more LOL of the day.  No more bustedtees.com pick of the week.  I'm not leaving you, LJ, you've just lost some responsibilities.  It's not like your job is going overseas.  You've been replaced by younger, more talented web 2.0 upstarts.
